The deal between us
By using Eat by VoiceBit you agree to these terms. They are written in plain English on purpose. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the service.
What the service is
Eat by VoiceBit is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent restaurants for food orders — pickup, delivery, dine-in, and curbside. It is available as a website at eat.voicebit.ai and as a ChatGPT App / MCP-compatible agent surface usable from supported AI clients.
Our role
VoiceBit is an ordering and discovery platform. We are not the merchant of record on any given order — that is the individual restaurant. We are not a delivery service either. Deliveries are handled by the restaurant itself or by a delivery partner that the restaurant chooses.
Your obligations
- Provide accurate name, phone number, and (for delivery) address.
- Pay the order total through the linked checkout when prompted.
- Do not place fraudulent orders. Repeated fraud will lead to suspension of access to the service.
- Be of legal age to place orders in your jurisdiction. In the United States, that means you must be at least 18 years old.
Pricing and availability
Prices shown reflect what the restaurant has set, plus applicable taxes and any fees. Restaurants can change prices and item availability at any time. The price displayed when you confirm and submit an order is the price you pay for that order.
Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe (or by another processor selected by the restaurant). Refund policies are set by each individual restaurant — for refund requests, contact the restaurant using the phone number on your order receipt.
Cancellations
Once you submit an order, it is sent to the kitchen and may not be cancellable. If you need to cancel or modify an order, contact the restaurant directly at the phone number on your receipt as quickly as possible.
Restaurant content
Menus, photos, hours, and prices are provided by each restaurant. In case of a conflict between what the marketplace displays and what the restaurant confirms, defer to the restaurant.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoiceBit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from the acts or omissions of any restaurant. You agree to indemnify and hold VoiceBit harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date below. Continued use of the marketplace after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
